4" Over-Under Line

4" Over-Under Line

Product Information
The Over-Under Combustion Line begins with a simple 4" by 12" combustion chamber and a flint ignitor. There are many options and add-ons to choose from and every one of them is totally worth it! This can be customized for many levels of spudding fun.

The ignition type can be either a Flint Lantern Sparker, a BBQ Ignitor, or an Electronic Spark Circuit. Lantern Sparkers are mounted through the chamber wall and are spun to ignite the fuel. BBQ Ignitors make a spark at the push of a button and are mounted in a handle that is perfect for launching from under your arm. Electronic spark circuits are a great and powerful addition to any combustion launcher. It creates many very strong sparks in a second, which gives a much more reliable ignition. The electronic ignition is housed in plastic box mounted to your launcher with a pushbutton and a main on/off switch. Another very good choice is the Ignition Handle (pistol grip style), which gives both a good grip and conceals all electronics inside itself.

Mixture fans are a great addition to all types of combustion launchers because it does all the hard work for you. There is often trouble keeping the gas mixed inside the chamber for the best shot, but not with a chamber fan. The other bonus is that with a fan, you no longer have to blow new air into the chamber yourself between shots. These fans will vent a standard chamber in literally 3 seconds. The fan control circuit is housed in a small plastic box on your chamber with your choice of being always on by switch or momentarily on by pushbutton. If you choose to have an electronic ignition and a mixture fan, the controls will be built into the same box with a master on/off.

A Propane Meter is probably the most important upgrade you can go with. Propane makes things easier, a lot cheaper, and much more reliable. It is clean and MUCH safer than most people assume. In fact, the greatest pressure propane can actually create in a standard launcher is 50 psi throughout the entire shot. The propane can either be inserted by a meter pipe separate from the launcher, or onboard. I prefer onboard because it allows for easier use and more portability. But others prefer separate because it is lighter and often easier to hold. The meter comes with a guide to calculating the correct pressure to set it to for your launcher.

Threaded barrel adapters make multiple barrels and breech-loading possible. With the ability to load from the breech end of the barrel, there is no longer any need for a ramrod.

Cam-Locks make life with launching so much easier. What these do is allow for fast and easy projectile loading and barrel switching. They work like threaded adapters except you don't need to screw it on. A male end is on the barrel and the female end is mounted to the chamber. The barrel just pops in and clicks into place after pulling the two lever arms back. These are by far one of my favorite things about my launchers.

Ball Valve Vent Ports are incredibly effective. On standard launchers the chamber cap must be unscrewed after each shot to replenish the oxygen supply in the chamber. But now with this 2" ball valve mounted to your end cap, you never need to unscrew a cap again for venting! Just pop open the valve and you are all set to vent.
